Ellis & Margaret Hudson were Marion County residents for more than 50 years, originally from West Virginia. Both were antique dealers and collectors for 50+ years. Ellis retired from the repair bay at Whirlpool after 40+ years, did electronics repair, and sold antiques on EBay, flea markets, and antique malls.  Margaret was a homemaker and co-owner of The Way We Were Antiques. They both loved history, their family, and friends.

The Hudson carnival glass collection consists of variety, quality, and beauty. The Hudsons were always looking for carnival glass to add to their collection. Some of their pieces have been mentioned in carnival glass books. They were members of several carnival glass clubs, and their member-only pieces are included in the auctions. Carnival glass made by Northwood, Fenton, Imperial, Millersburg, Westmoreland, Dugan/Diamond, Cambridge, Gibson, St. Clair, and Crider.
