LOCAL HISTORICAL INDIAN RELIC CACHE & OTHER ARTIFACTS: A super 154 pc. Flint Ridge Adena blade cache found in 1979 by Ralph Herr, formerly of Meeker, Oh. area. Documented in the Ohio Archaeologist Vol. 59, No. 4 Fall 2009 as The Grand-Herr Cache. The longest blade is 6¾” long plus othr asst. sizes. Per Richard Johnson wishes before passing, that the cache could only be sold together and not split up. We believe this has proved to be the most significant cache of Adena Blades ever found in Marion Co. Picts and more info on our website! Thebes 3” blade multi-color flint (nice); exceptional 5” x 5½” winged or butterfly bannerstone; two-hole 2¾” slate gorget; 4¾” slate pipe; partial steel trade axe; Bifucated blade; lg. blade; a few local broken slate pcs.
